Located on a beautiful tree-lined street in one of the city's finest neighborhoods, we invite you to share our private oasis in the middle of the city, and hope this can be your home away from home.
The space
This bright and comfortable room has lovely Persian rugs over newly renovated hardwood floors. The built-in counter area contains a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Bowls, cups plates, glasses and silverware are provided. The comfy, queen-sized bed is made with high thread count, luxury linens. The sitting area has a 55 inch TV with a full panoply of cable channels included, and the couch folds out to a surprisingly comfortable single bed. The cozy bathroom is equipped with all new fittings, but has been renovated with care to maintain the integrity of the vintage design.
The room overlooks the pool and our magical garden. We love to share the backyard with our guests. Enjoy your morning coffee in your room, or wander down to the garden where you may see two doves nesting in our camellia tree, dragonflies frolicking above the pool or a hummingbird sipping from the stream. Our pool is heated during all but the coldest months in winter.
Guest access
Enter your private guest suite through the secured side gate, walk through the garden to the stairs that lead to your suite. You are welcome to enjoy our garden, (please note that Julie may be puttering about,) as well as the pool and spa.
Other things to note
We embrace diversity and welcome All! Please be aware that, as referenced above, there is a flight of 12 stairs to access the suite. Finally, we have two dogs (Finnegan and Taco) and two cats (Lois and Stewey). No matter how hard we try to keep the cats out of the guest quarters, they inevitably sneak in somehow. If pet dander makes you sneeze and itch, our place is probably not for you.
