A few meters from Elevador da Bica, which will take to Bairro Alto and Chiado in 5 minutes. Mercado da Ribeira and Praça do Comércio with all their gourmet restaurants are just a few minutes away by foot.
Plenty of public transports in the area will take you easily everywhere. Explore the neighbourhood and enjoy this unique part of Lisbon.

The Space:
Our unique studio apartment is the perfect base when visiting Lisbon. Conveniently located in Bica and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
It has a super comfortable double bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep?
Freshen up in the lovely bathroom - wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower.
You will find all the modern appliances in the kitchen for cooking a delicious meal.
My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled right on the banks of the Tejo, Santos is becoming known as one of Lisbon’s newest cool areas full of young hipsters and bohemian artists. During a trip around the neighbourhood, you can enjoy the view out over the Tejo and admire the 25 de Abril Bridge; the stunning suspension bridge that crosses the river with a similar design and color to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. For a little high culture, head to the Basilica da Estrela which is considered one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the world. For a little peace and quiet, take a stroll through Tapada das Necessidades; the park between the Prazeres Cemetery and the Tejo waterline which features an array of wildlife and colorful abandoned buildings. Take a picnic to complete the trip. Finally, for something a little more unusual, you can enjoy an hour or two in the Puppet Museum, learning about the history of puppetry and seeing masks from around the world.
If you’re looking for a delicious bite to eat, then the Santos neighbourhood will not disappoint. Hamburgueria does Bairro is well known as the best hamburger joint in Lisbon with 11 flavours of burger, including a tofu option for vegetarians. Meanwhile, A Travessa combines Portuguese and Belgian cuisine in a bohemian and relaxed environment Finally, Ilhas Gregas offers authentic Greek cuisine in the heart of Lisbon. For an evening drink, try Matiz Pombalina for classic cocktails in an 18th-century building where you can tap along to the rhythms of jazz and soul. You can enjoy reasonably priced drinks and mix with the local Lisbon bohemian crowd at Art Bar, or alternatively let your hair down and enjoy a wild night at Coyote Ugly, a raucous late-night bar named after the original New York joint and the film it inspired.
Getting Around:
The studio is about 800 meters walk from Cais do Sodre which has a metro station (green line) and the train of Cascais line.
From the airport take the red line, change at Alameda station to green line direction Cais Sodre. From there it's 10 minutes walking.
The train to Cascais also departs from this station and runs the Estoril Coast with access to beaches and the beautiful village of Cascais.
Other Things to Note:
- The flat capacity is for 2 people. No additional guests allowed.
- Please note there is no elevator in the building. You will have to walk up approximately 20 steps to get to the flat on the 1st floor.
- Most homes in Portugal don’t have central heating, but heaters and fans will be provided.
Check-in time is from 3 pm and check-out time is until 11:00 am. Please note that if you need a late check-in, it will require the payment of an extra fee as per the following:
- From 20:00 to 02:00h: €25
- After 02:00h: Confirm availability before booking
This fee will be collected before the check-in and must be paid by card or through the Airbnb Resolution Centre.
All guests will be required to present valid IDs before the check-in for registration to the Portuguese security authorities
- Please note that the electricity power in most houses in Lisbon is low. Because of this you can't have too much equipments on at the same time, otherwise the power will go out.
- If guests lock themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a 50€ fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80€ fee will apply.
- Please note the water heater has limited capacity. Once the hot water runs out, it will take some time for the water to warm up.
- Please be eco-friendly and turn off all the lights and electrical appliances (such as heaters and fans) when you leave the apartment.
