Once you enter the private gates of Cinnamon Stones and the property, The views will take your breath away, encompassing Hans Lollick and Lovango to the west, north to Jost Van Dyke and West toward Tortola. Right below, you overlook Cinnamon Bays white sand beach, as well as Peter and Francis Bays. This special home itself sits among large granite rock outcroppings, that are covered with tropical greens. You've arrived.. paradise for the week. Large louvered doors enclose the spaces, opening to take advantage of the cooling tradewinds and bring in those incredible views.
As you cross the threshold and come through the covered veranda, the Great Room welcomes you, surrounded by six large mahogany doors handcrafted here on St John. Open them and enjoy the views from sun up to twilight. A huge open air gallery wraps around the great room, replete with comfortable arm chairs and even a hammock for relaxing and watching the sailboats glide by. A large and comfortable sectional sofa anchors the room with additional side seating. This gathering space has a 40 inch TV, for when you need to check in with the rest of the world. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with gas oven and range built into the island, refrigerator with icemaker and plenty of appliances. A large pantry sits off of the kitchen, for storage of pots and pans and other large items. There is also a small office adjacent this space as well, so if you need to work, you can.
Just across the covered terrace is the Master Suite. With a king size 4 poster mahogany bed and attractive furnishings and television.. the suite is a great escape. A large screened deck sits out in front, with a rocker and armchair to enjoy the views. The master bath has a large screened outdoor shower, also with those incredible views.
On the deck below is the 40 X 8 heated lap pool and hot tub. Also on the lower deck there are two roomy umbrellas that can be moved to shelter you from the sun as you lounge on the steps in the water and lounge chairs line the deck. There are also dining tables for an al fresco meal. The deck surfaces are all Trex, which assures cool feet even on hot days.
The laundry room off the pool deck has not only a washer/dryer, but also ice maker, ice bucket, drinkware and small refrigerator for cold drinks. There is also an adjacent full bathroom which opens onto the deck.
While the setting allows for naturally cooled rooms, Cinnamon Stones has full AC in all bedrooms, for your additional comfort.
