Less than 20 minutes from uptown in the Hickory Grove neighborhood of Charlotte, NC, you'll find yourself feeling like you’ve escaped to the mountains. This lovely cabin is the setting for a perfect staycation or retreat. Come and see why this is my family’s happy place!
THE SPACE
Welcome to our little cabin retreat in Charlotte. We look forward to hosting you this year!
Featuring beautiful large trees, a brand new spa, hammocks all around, and over 3 acres of land, you’ll never want to leave this serene property. It is large enough for 12 people, but also cozy enough for a couple’s getaway (without the long drive).
As you drive up the long driveway, you’ll notice how far back this cabin is tucked away from the road. Walking up the path you’ll be greeted by the sounds of birds and the wind rustling the tree leaves.
When you step inside main floor, you’ll see that the open layout is perfect for gathering and creating memories. There is a large, well-stocked kitchen that is ideal for those who love to cook, as it’s stocked with all of the dishes, glassware, flatware, small appliances, coffee machines, baby and toddler-friendly supplies, and more.
The living room invites in those who love to sit back and watch a show or sports event on a 65” smart tv, as it is extremely comfortable and complete with an epic surround sound system. Large sliding glass doors all around the living room create a nice cross-wind, and open up to a wrap around deck with an outdoor dining area, surrounded by tall trees that truly make it feel like you’re in the mountains.
Walk up the spiral staircase to find a cool and cozy kid-friendly loft area. This area includes a smart TV, a Nintendo switch, open ended toys for kids, a Nugget couch, all complete with its own surround sound system as well. The 2 floor chairs also convert into single beds for larger groups.
In the basement you will find 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms that can sleep up to 10 people with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, a twin bunk bed + trundle, 1 king size bed, and a chair that converts into a single bed. We only use highly rated mattresses and bedding to ensure you get an extremely comfortable night’s rest!
Outside is our brand new hot tub with new decking, a campfire pit, a hanging swing, 4 different hammocks hanging around, and plenty of outdoor games like Bocci ball, Badminton, Corn Hole, and Ladder Toss. We also have a long slip n slide you can roll out for hours of fun. The back 2 acres of the property are pure nature. Feel free to explore!
