Quiet and affordable (4-legged dogs ok too) make this 2 bedroom, 1 bath lock-off basement apartment in our Silverthorne home ideal for families and couples who want to enjoy some time away in the heart of ski country. Six (6) Ski resorts within 30 minutes (A-Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper, Vail, Loveland) and Beaver Creek 40 minutes away make this the perfect spot for the active person.
We offer easy access to all the fun that Summit County offers: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoe, cross-country skiing, white water rafting, fly fishing, hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, SUP, live music, professional theater, outlet shopping.
Just one block to the Blue River trail that connects you on bike or foot all over Summit County and Vail. Two blocks to Rainbow Park and the Silverthorne Rec Center which offers 4 pools, 2 hot tubs, slides, sauna and fitness classes. Drive-through Starbucks is right on Rainbow Drive, Dunkin' Donuts is just around the corner. Outlet shopping is four blocks away.
The basement apartment is decorated in a rustic style and has all of the amenities of home. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. There is a sleeper couch in the living room for the member of your family that may snore.
The kitchen is stocked with brand new pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware, microwave, coffee maker with timer and all that you would need to make a great meal. You can enjoy the dining table that seats 6 or have a more casual meal at the breakfast bar with 3 comfortable stools. The bathroom is spacious, newly remodeled with a shower stall, new towels and toiletries provided.
There is ample parking, a fenced-in yard, full-sized washer and dryer in the unit.
Have a dog, possibly 2? The huge fenced-in yard also makes this property a perfect place for pets, especially on those cold nights where you might prefer to take the night off from walking your furry friends. You can instead just let them out, run about freely, do their business and not worry about them running off.

DETAILS RE: FIVE (5) MONTH RENTAL FOR THE 2022/2023 SEASON!
*This is currently the only option available for booking my property for the 22/23 season. I will not be accepting short term rentals until the beginning on November but if you would like to discuss an alternate plan outside of the rough guideline below, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Serious inquiries only and you’re open to collaborating together with designing a season rental that can fit each other needs.

*Flexible on pricing and terms for the right renter(s).
*I’m ideally looking for couples, families or groups of friends that will be occupying the apartment for long weekends and/or school/work vacation weeks.
*Perfect for the retired or working folks that might have some flexibility on their work schedules and who might want to avoid the dreadful I-70 Friday afternoon drives from the front range and the Sunday return trips back home.
*Perfect for groups of friends that can alternate long weekends or vacations and can share the monthly costs. ALL utilities included (heat/water/Wi-Fi, DIRECTV-including NFL Sunday ticket, yard/driveway and snow removal, but hand shoveling of your steps and porch will be your responsibility). Your only costs will be the monthly rent.
*Suggested Rental Term-Nov. 15th, 2022 through April 15th, 2023. I’m open for this rental to not necessarily be a straight 5 month rental for the suggested term dates above, (i.e. could be a Dec-March rental and then a 1 month rental during the summer, etc.).
