Welcome to our 4 bedroom / 3 bath home located on Silver Lake in Laona, WI. Laona is a small town that still has the up north charm that really allows you to get away from it all.
Silver Lake is a 320-acre full recreational lake which allows water sports. It is also a great fishing lake where you can catch just about any type of native Wisconsin fish including Musky! The frontage is hard sand, making it perfect for swimming.
Nearby, you can easily access the snowmobile and ATV trails. Also, being very close to the Nicolet National Forest, you can take advantage of the great biking and hiking through the woods.
The home has forced air heating and central air conditioning. There are multiple televisions with Roku devices that allow you to stream your favorite shows, and of course, there is high speed WiFi Internet. There are also two kitchens - one upstairs and one downstairs, as well as a washer and dryer for our guests use.
The town of Laona offers a few nice bar/restaurants, including Sam's Lakehouse (right across the lake on Highway 8) that has amazing homemade pizza. There is a Family Dollar and Gas Station/Convenience store right in town, and if a full grocery or hardware store is needed, you can find that about 10 minutes away in Crandon. For a little excitement, you can also head to Carter Casino in Carter, Wi - about 20 minutes away.
