Summary: This place is old, but the River is right there and we had bunnies, foxes and a skunk out in the field... Great fishing access, and picnic tables. Simple accommodations - but it had cable with a ton of channels, a working AC and it was a fair price for the accommodations. The staff had good recommendations for food at local restaurants (Hitchcock Tavern and Howard's Drive -In) and the proximity to the Quabbin was nice. We had a sports tournament in Amherst and this modest spot was suitable and it saved us some money over the hotels closer to our tournament. Not fancy, but solid.
