Positive: Honestly, the only thing I would recommend about this property was the location. Everything is right beneath the apartment: shops, cafes, laundromats, etc. Security is good too.
Negative: There are far more things we disliked about this place. It was not clean at all so we were quite confused about the cleanliness described in the reviews. The fans were covered in dust, triggering our hayfever. There were ants crawling all over the place and dead flies lying around. The TV screen was dirty. The kitchen area had a foul smell. If guests are being charged a cleaning fee, why is the space not being cleaned? The washing machine was also damp/didn’t smell right and we couldn’t use it. Thankfully there was a laundromat across the road but we shouldn’t have had to use it after booking a place advertised with a washing machine. The wardrobe was also not useable as it was filled with random pillows and mattresses. The hosts were not the easiest to communicate with and we were waiting around for a while in the airport to be sent all the check-in details. Surely this should just be an automatic message after booking instead of having to go back and forth with host after a long flight and just wanting to get to the accommodation. As if all of the above wasn’t disappointing enough, when we asked the host for short check-out extension because we had a later flight, we were responded to with a message about all sorts of costs to extend check-out. If there is scope for a later check-out, that means there are no other guests that day so it would have been nice to be given the chance to checkout just a few hours later considering the fact that we stayed a few nights.
