This charming and cozy 1000 square foot cottage is the perfect retreat for a peaceful, relaxing vacation in a quiet setting. With stunning lake views of St. Albans Bay and just down the street from historical Kamp Kill Kare State Park, this quaint little getaway is sure to make you feel at home.
Enjoy the sunrise with your morning cup of coffee and breakfast on the screened in porch listening to nature awaken while you plan the activities for the day. When not enjoying the water, afternoons can be spent curled up in one of two hammocks with your favorite book. The hammocks are the perfect place to completely unwind and read, listen to music, or just daydream in this idyllic setting! In the evenings, the large wrap around deck is perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine while grilling steaks on the outdoor grill and watching the boats return from their day's adventure. End your night by building a warm fire to roast marshmallows as you bask in the seclusion and relaxation of this quiet country setting.
Three bedrooms will easily sleep 6 people comfortably with one queen size bed, a full size bed, and a set of bunk beds with all linens provided. The bathroom offers a tub/shower combination, updated fixtures, and guest towels. Beach towels are also provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a full size electric range, refrigerator, and microwave. A Keurig coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and spices are provided for your convenience.
Kamp Kill Kare State Park is located right down the street and offers ferry service to Burton Island State Park, where you can spend the day exploring, swimming, or dining at the bistro.
Paddle around Saint Albans Bay with the four included Kayaks or give the two Stand-Up Paddleboards a try for a unique experience. You can paddle out into the Inland Sea or stop for the day at Burton Island. Lake Champlain has no shortage of spots to paddle, swim, or fish. If getting wet isn’t your thing, you can even fish right off the dock without leaving the property.
Outdoor amenities include a gas grill, hammocks, lawn games, firepit, ample parking, 4 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards, life jackets, a dock, a dingy (row boat), and even a trampoline in the lake!

The cottage is located in a small historic town with a home-town feel. We have a several local restaurants, some great antique shopping, and are easily accessed from Interstate 89.
