In the hilly tip of South Limburg lies a historic carre water mill. Character-filled holiday accommodations has been created in it. This apartment is the former granary. The holiday home is located on the ground floor but you will still find stairs. The courtyard, which you share with several other guests, is a safe place for children. Here you can als enjoy your own little terrace. Chickens and cats scratch around the mill. You can park your car for free and a bbq and cot are at your disposal
Many guests come here because of the beautiful hiking and touring routes and the many trips that are possible from this central "three countries" point. It is a true Eldorado here with such Savelsbos, the Voerstreek and the Belgian Ardennes. A wonderful route by car or bicycle is the Mergelland route that leads through the most hilly areas.
Children can move freely in a sheltered environment. For the little ones there is a crib/chair and a playground. In the vicinity is a riding school where you can rent a pony under supervision. There are also opportunities to bring your own horse. In addition, there are several barbecues available.
The famous three countries point is nearby, as well as the cities of Maastricht, Liege and Aachen. With the children, a summer trip to Funvalley Maastricht is great fun and in case you enjoy a sauna visit, Thermae 2000 is nearby too. A few kilometers away is the beautiful Castle Eijsden, good to combine with a delicious lunch or dinner on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Meuse. There is also a watchtower in Mesch that offers a beautiful view over the nature surrounding the village. In the summer months you can also visit numerous folklore festivals.
