Beachfront Cottage on the isthmus of Maiden Lake and Little Maiden lake in Nicolet National Forest. . Large fire pit area. Sandy beach area walk out depth ( good for small children), beautiful crystal clear blue water, 60 feet deep in center of 300 acre lake. Firm bottom, no weeds. No wake in early morning and evening.Row boat and kayaks available for use.Swim out raft, great snorkeling, swimming and fishing. Pier and boat also on Little Maiden, a very quiet loon protected lake. Area attractions include golfing, Laona Steam train , Lumberjack museum, rafting on the Wolf and Peshtigo, shopping, many bars and restaurants, casino and horseback riding. Max capacity 4 Sat-Sat rental July - August. Reduced rate for June and Sept $900. 1 car parking only.

Summary: We had trouble finding the property because the address is not shown on the main road. Would suggest owner provide additional directions regarding which drive to turn onto. Property is located on prime spot on the lake which is very clean and clear. Thoroughly enjoyed kayaking on the lake with life jackets that were provided, sitting on the dock reading and nightly campfires. Very cute accommodations but lacks storage for clothing items.
