Positive: A very nice view, and a reasonably comfortable bed. We did not use our breakfast included as from our understanding it was a simple egg on toast. A lot of nice restaurants down the hill. The staff are very friendly and helpful with inquiries, and always smiling. All in all I would say the hotel is fair for the price. Going up the bumpy hill you will see loads of chickens, some cows and if you are lucky a little snake crossing by. (We had the fortune of getting one between my legs just quickly crossing the street and in to bushes). Try renting a scooter, as it gets quite dark at night, but keep in mind Nusa Penida roads are not for rookies.
Negative: What seems to be the standard in Bali and Islands around Indonesia is the the mold in bathrooms and towels/bedsheet with stains. We switched rooms 3 times to get the available room with the least mold. The towels and bedsheets smells clean, so seems to be a mixture of guest handling and washing issue that leads to stains. (Sunscreen mostly). Again staff where helpful in finding us a room we could be comfortable in.
