Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very well equipped kitchen. Olive oil, salt, sugar, laundry detergent etc all provided. It felt more like a home than a holiday let. Huge apartment including a big terrace with plenty of shade, immaculately clean as well. Good location with private parking although we found it easier to just park on the street. Short walk to the beach and a few restaurants, short drive to nearby towns like Ostuni and Carovigno.

Negative: The air conditioning was broken for the duration of our stay, the host seemed to be aware of this but didn't say anything until we raised it. We slept with the windows open, but it was uncomfortably hot most nights. Some of the fly screens are damaged, meaning mosquitos found their way in and feasted on us. Bed sheets were provided for only one bed. The host couldn't provide additional bedding until the following day. Overall we didn't feel our hosts were particularly concerned with our comfort. We didn't sleep well which significantly impacted the enjoyment of our stay. A real shame because it's a nice property.
