Welcome to our elegant and inviting 3-story Victorian home located in the heart of the desirable Chestnut Hill neighborhood in historic bustling downtown Lancaster. Built in 1894 our home exemplifies old world character and charm but also includes modern amenities and decor that you might expect to find in a high end boutique hotel. The home is perfectly situated for exploring everything that vibrant and quaint yet increasingly cosmopolitan Lancaster City has to offer.
Our 5 bedroom 2 full bath home is large enough to host the entire family for an amazing seasonal extended stay getaway, several couples for a romantic week of art, fine dining and culture or a group of close friends for a bridal or bachelorette adventure filled weekend. The home is splendidly decorated by Miraculous Designs in a French provisional style that will have you feeling like you stepped down off of Le Train Bleu into the french countryside. Well almost :). Downtown Lancaster's rich history, diverse architecture, and walk-ability further add to that European feel. Mornings can be spent sipping coffee on the large beautiful front porch interacting with neighbors or finding serenity in the secluded rear garden. A 2nd floor balcony offers an elevated view of the neighborhood and provides VIP viewing of the Barnstormer's fireworks often held after games on the weekends.
The Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Lancaster City is in the midst of a renaissance.
