Great traditional Andalusian "cortijo" at 5 minutes from Ronda, perched on cliff over the river Guadalevín, and with stunning views of Ronda. Recently refurbished and very fresh in the hot months, the house has 2 living-rooms, 5 double bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, and a dining room seating 12. The formal garden around the house has a water reservoir with fresh spring water that functions as a swimming pool and measures 8x8 m.
The house is constructed on 2 floors. On entrance level, there are: a large living room with a fireplace, tv and access to a large terrace with lovely views of the countryside; an ample and fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 8-10; a dining-room seating 12; 2 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom; a bedroom with 2 beds and another 2 extra beds; and another independent bathroom. On the lower floor are: a large family room with a tv; and 2 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom.
In front of the house there is a large terrace with a pergola and dining tables for 12.
Around the house are lovely formal gardens, with impressive views of Ronda.
This country house has a stunning spring water pool (an “alberca”) measuring 8 x 8 m. and that originally dates from the XII century and was built in Arab times. In the old days the alberca was the main source of water for the house, and it is only filled up with the most natural water coming straight from the mountains surrounding the estate. We preserve its original and ecological conditions by only adding the most natural products available. As you will see the water is tremendously fresh and invigorating. We hope you enjoy this marvellous spring water pool as much as our ancestors! Next to it is a terrace with comfortable deck chairs.
The Guadalevín river runs below the house, and its clean waters are inviting for a beautiful and refreshing swim.
