Summary: A really nice way to start and end a trip in Namibia. Especially good if you like beautiful gardens and interesting birds - it was full of rosy-faced lovebirds (a parrot), woodpeckers, loeries, babblers and more. Everything about Etango is excellent. Airport pick up was organised in advance. The rooms are great, with air con and nice facilities. The pool is well looked after. The food was wonderful - four courses, each delicious and high quality. When arriving back from my motorcycle ride around Namibia, I was too late for lunch, but one of the ladies made a lovely greek salad for me. And then I was driven to the airport at 6.30 in the morning. That was before breakfast started, so they gave me a packed breakfast. If you have time, it is definitely worth staying for more than a day at the start of a Namibia tour, as it is a great place to acclimatise and relax.
