Summary: The house is very nice, and the pool area is also. It is a bit remote, so no places you can walk to. For restaurant dining, you would have to drive to Bonifacio, which is not too far. The VRBO listing is not accurate when it comes to pricing, since the host demands extra payment for electricity. And the host demands a big deposit and proof of insurance. We don't disagree with any of these, but it was not nice to find out about it only after the final booking and payment. There is a caretaker living on-site (in another house). She only speaks Italian, and this was also at times a bit challenging, but possible to manage with Google translate app.
