Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations.
It is located a short 2-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.
The beach has tide pools perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary (less than 100 from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot, It is common to see lots of people with their surfboards walking around or even in their bicycles.

Casa Sirena is located on Langosta Beach, less than a mile from the restaurants, shops, and activities of Tamarindo. This stylish 4 bedroom home defines luxury. Picture yourself basking in the sun, walking on the beach, floating in the pool, and relaxing under the sheltered rancho on your private deck overlooking beautiful Playa Langosta, while the Pacific Ocean rolls in against the beach, just steps below. With its location, amenities, and attention to detail, this villa captures the essence of Costa Rican beach living.
Upon entering the house you encounter a lush garden with cast stone fountains and tropical pools. Three bedrooms surround the gardens, and have ensuite full baths and beds that look out to the tropical garden. The master bedroom opens to the infinity pool, and has stunning views of the pool and ocean, as well as an outdoor sitting area perfect for reading. With four bedrooms and five baths, the villa sleeps eight comfortably.
The custom designed kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art appliances and gas stove. The family room, kitchen, and dining areas are part of one great room that open onto the deck and pool area. The covered outdoor dining area on the deck has a gas grill, refrigerator and prep sink. The villa is fully air-conditioned, with temperature controls in every bedroom.
The tropical landscaping, hardwood doors and cabinetry, cast stone water fountains, ceiling fans, custom kitchen, and vaulted hardwood beamed ceilings are truly luxurious. Summary: We have stayed in several luxury villas over the years, and this place is my favorite so far. The layout is well thought out, without any of the negative quirks often found in larger places like bedroom-size disparity and maze-like designs. The decor was a nice mix of local and Asian art. The koi pond was just wow, without giving any spoilers, I’ll just say this was not your average koi pond. The kids will always remember it. The location was great, in a quiet area of rentals and condos, street-to-beach, with a little pathway leading directly to Playa Langosta. The sunsets over the beach (which could be watched from the actual beach or from our private patio) were one of my favorite parts of the trip. The beach itself is very nice. While the area directly in front of the house is a rocky tide pool area, there’s a large area of quiet sandy beach close by. The kids loved exploring the tide pools every morning. We had a few minor questions about the place on check-in day, and the management was responsive and helpful. While not a new villa, we found it to be well maintained, with great gardens and foliage. There was a gardener there most days keeping everything looking nice. It was clear that the owners and management care very much about keeping the place nice.
