Lovely Mid-Century Modern home in historic Honesdale, Pa. The house includes WiFi, central heating, air con, a Games Room and features black walnut, sandstone and marble walls, flagstone floors and beautiful stained glass decorations throughout, all lovingly crafted by our late, beloved father/grandfather/great-grandfather. Conveniently located in the northern Poconos with plenty of activities to keep you busy. Beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack, the Elk Mountain Ski Resort and over 40 summer camps a short drive away.
The living room provides a peaceful view out onto the mature lawn and spring-fed pond. Keep a look out for our furry neighbors - deer, squirrel and chipmunks are often playing or passing by. Relax with a book or tickle the ivories on the grand piano. The basement includes a second living area with a queen-sized sofa bed, a dry bar plus a separate Retro games room with full size ping ping and pool tables. Listen to an old Victrola while you play!
We do not have cable TV but you can log your laptop or tablet in to our free Wifi and connect them to the TV. There is a mains-connected gas BBQ at the back, a large outdoor fireplace plus plenty of space for children to run around and play. There are some toys for the little ones and you are welcome to use the PackN'Play child's cot and high chair.
The kitchen is well-appointed with a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, stove and plenty of tableware, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. Don't want to cook?
