This vibrant, rainbow-striped home is on a quiet dead-end street with friendly neighbors, has a good-sized backyard complete with children's play structure, and a front yard with big shady tree and garden beds. With 3 bedrooms, two living spaces (one without a TV so your kids don't beg to watch Bluey!), and a full bath with tub plus powder room, this home is great for up to 4 adults and up to 3 kids (one sleeping in a travel crib).
Enjoy a home that feels homey, where the bedrooms are for sleeping (with blackout curtains!), the living room is for playing, and the giant 75" Samsung Frame TV is available for movie nights in a lockable space with Murphy bed that is separated from the main living area. A covered carport with outlet and twinkle lights is perfect for charging your car, staying dry from the rain, or using for outdoor childrens' activities during a drizzly Seattle day.
Did we mention this is a space for families? After years of trying to find truly child-friendly vacation rentals, we decided to offer our space when we travel so that YOU and YOUR kids can feel comfortable knowing that a stray crayon mark, a dropped plastic plate, or an overnight diaper blowout won't ruin your stay. We know how hard it is to travel with kids, so we understand what you want and need when traveling. We don't expect you to leave the place spotless, but do offer common cleaning supplies that you might want (Hello magic erasers!).
Walking distance from the northernmost light rail station, this house has everything you need to be comfortable with your family! Did I mention we have bright-colored decor that will delight your eyes?
There is a seasonal garden out front that could be a source of discovery and exploration for your little tasters, with herbs and veggies for the nibbling. In the fenced back yard, enjoy two swings, a trapeze swing, slide, and play house for the little ones, plus an adult-sized AND a child-sized picnic tables with optional umbrellas for fun afternoon hangouts. We are 4 blocks from a neighborhood park with seasonal water features, walking trails, playground, and dog park.
Come to Seattle and feel at home! No need to bring toys or books, we have plenty in both Spanish and English. Duplo legos? Check! Magna-tiles? Check. Many princess costumes? Check. Full kitchen with toaster oven and full oven, sparkling water maker, baking supplies, coffee and tea? Check! Air conditioning for the summer, a rare Seattle treat? CHECK!
Walking distance also includes a coffee shop nestled inside a church with a kids play room separated from the rest of the cafe with a closing door. Also a large park can be reached on foot by even a 2-year-old, featuring two playgrounds, a dog park, wooded walking trails, and a water feature that is turned on during hot months.
