Welcome to Backyard Bungalows, a unique house that sits up against the beautiful red cliffs of Kanab! The perfect house for a family getaway, equipped with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Come relax in the hot tub out back after a long day of adventuring in Kanab and surrounding areas!!
The Space:
Come enjoy Backyard Bungalows with the whole family! With views that go on for miles and an amazing backyard, this fully-furnished home will make marvelous memories! There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and so much more.
The first bedroom has a king bed, the second has 3 double-size Murphy beds and the third has a twin-size bunk bed.
The kitchen has everything you need, including a counter-top bar seating area for three and dining table with seating for several. Or, take your meal outside to the gorgeous outdoor dining area. It is equipped with a blender, toaster, Keurig, cookie sheets, baking utensils, pots, pans, insta pot, griddle, waffle maker and hand mixer.
When you're done dining, take a soak in the hot tub!
The living room has plenty of comfy seating. Take a moment to play a game with the family. We have Monopoly, Operation and basketball.
The kids will want to play outside and zoom around on the toy cars - there's a whole play land here!
There's a full laundry room to make sure you go home with clean clothes.

The Neighborhood:
Located near downtown Kanab in a peaceful neighborhood.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
