Vista Santa Lucia is centrally located in the heart of the Paso Robles wine country. We are a short drive to Historic Downtown Templeton and Atascadero with many eateries. We are minutes from many award-winning wineries in Paso Robles! Come drink your morning coffee or a glass of local wine while enjoying panoramic views of the hills and vineyards. Enjoy a sunset/sunrise in our outdoor areas. We are dog friendly and have a crib and pack n' play for little ones. The entire property is over 2600 square feet, on over 9 acres with Vineyard, Hill, and spectacular 360-degree Mountain panoramic views. We offer a perfect location for large groups to spread out and relax! Past guests have raved about how breathtaking our views are and how the space is spacious and comfortable for groups to relax for a weekend getaway. We are also close to the Paso Robles wine region which has over 300 wineries that you can visit for wine tasting or lunch! We are perfect for 3-4 couples or 2-3 families to come and stay for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub is located just off the back-covered patio with breathtaking wine-country views. MAIN HOUSE
The newly furnished 2,000 square foot main house sleeps a total of 8 guests.It boasts an open floor plan with the family room/great room, living room, dining room, and full kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances in one space with very comfortable areas to relax while you enjoy your stay and the views. We also have a kitchen stocked and ready to go with all cooking supplies, pots and pans, oils, and spices. Additionally, you can enjoy our game room located in the garage attached to the house with a pool table and card table for you to utilize. There is plenty of space for you and your guests to relax and enjoy some quiet time during your stay.This luxury home provides the perfect setting for a group getaway from the big city, or a weekend away to do some wine tasting. Access to most of the house is wheelchair accessible.
ROOMS
With a total of three bedrooms located down the hall of the main house, with new furnishings and exceptionally comfortable beds. Each bedroom has a spectacular view with lots of windows and natural light and blackout curtains for great sleep. All rooms are TV free purposely designed as a retreat from screens with high-end mattresses & linens with plenty of storage and drawers. Every bed boasts luxury sheets and a choice of down-filled or down alternative pillows. 2 pillows are provided per person.
Room 1 - 1 Queen Bed
Has a window with a view of the gorgeous front of our property. The queen mattress is a sealy inner spring pillow top mattress. Also included are two nightstands and a dresser for your belongings.
Room 2 - 4 Twin Beds
This bedroom is perfect for adults and/or kids/families. There are two brand-new sets of bunk beds (4 beds total). The twin mattress are beautyrest memory foam, with views of the front of the property and the rolling hills, it also has a dresser for your belongings.
Room 3 - 1 Cal King Bed
Master en suite with a bathroom, with a walk-in shower. Has access to the back patio and the best views out of all the bedrooms of the rolling hills! The king mattress is a Sealy memory foam. It includes two nightstands and a dresser for your belongings as well as a walk-in closet that has a crib in it for babies.
Room 4 - 1 King Bed (This is in a separate unit on the property called the Casita)
Master en suite with a bathroom, with a walk-in shower and jetted tub. The king mattress is Ashley memory foam, with a memory foam cooling topper, this is the firmest bed we have on the property. It includes two nightstands and a dresser for your belongings as well as a walk-in closet.
BATHROOMS
The main house has 2 updated full bathrooms, each with plenty of storage and welcoming water pressure. The first bathroom contains a tub and shower, and the primary ensuite provides a standalone walk-in shower, we also have a shower chair for accessibility purposes. These two bathrooms have ample space for all guests and you won't have to spend time waiting, especially on vacation. We also have a third full bathroom located in The Casita that is available for parties of 9 or more, please see below.
THE CASITA (This is a separate unit on the property which adds a 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom)
The Casita at Vista Santa Lucia is a separate unit on the property that provides an additional 600 square feet and can sleep an additional 2 guests (sleeping a total of 10). Just out a gate off the patio and a few hundred feet away from the main house, The Casita provides additional space for a large group to spread out or offers extra privacy for 2 of your guests that may need a little more quiet time. The Casita has a kitchenette, living room, bedroom with king-size bed, and ensuite bathroom with jetted tub, patio, and fenced outdoor space. All parties of 9 or 10 get access to both the main house, The Casita, and the entire property. Any party of 8 or fewer will only get access to our main house and the entire outdoor spaces. If your party of 8 or fewer would like to add on The Casita there is an additional fee. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to add this to your stay and we will let you know the additional cost. OUTDOOR LIVING
There is no lack of space to relax when you are staying at Vista Santa Lucia. Our three shaded covered patios have plenty of furniture for you to sip your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on our front porch, sit by the outdoor fire pit, and take in the spectacular views of the neighboring farms, vineyards, and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Later relax in the 5-person hot tub. The spa includes comfortable chairs, a cool-down seat, and a large footwell with hydromassage and rotary jets. Private access from both the Casita and Master Bedroom. We also have a charcoal and propane barbecue grill for grilling on warm nights.
ADDITIONAL INFO: High-speed Internet and Smart TVs are provided to steam your favorite shows. You must use your own account to stream on our smart TVs. We are a non-smoking property, if you are caught smoking on our property there will be a $300.00 fine charged to your account.
WILDLIFE & MAINTENANCE
Our home is in a rural setting outside the city limits with large lots and a lot of wildlife. You will often see deer, squirrels, gophers, rodents, reptiles, horses, lizards, and the occasional cow roaming the property and/or surrounding properties. Please do not feed or approach any wildlife. There can be insects, bugs and other creatures that give the property its wonderful relaxing country feel. While we stay on top of pest maintenance, we ask you to expect that bugs may enter the home when doors are left open, get tracked in on shoes and luggage, and are part of life in the country. If you have allergies to bees, please be aware there will likely be bees buzzing around. There will not be any refunds or cancellations in regard to normal bugs & wildlife.
SECURITY CAMERAS
We have exterior cameras that record audio & video upon motion detection. One ring doorbell is located at the front door, one camera above the garage, and two on the back patios. These are primarily to ensure that our maintenance services are being performed and to monitor if deer have breached our fences. Tampering, removing, or damaging the cameras will be considered a violation of the rental agreement. There are no cameras inside the house.
We are dog friendly (sorry no cats), and there is a per dog pet fee of $100.00 per reservation which is non-refundable (i.e 1 dog $100, 2 dogs $200). We allow only up to 2 dogs on our property at all times. Owners are responsible for their dogs while on our property. We prefer that dogs stay off the furniture and bedding, but understand some dogs are accustomed to being on furniture. Therefore, we ask all dog owners to please cover the couches and bed in which the dog will be sleeping. The fee is waived only for legitimate service animals in which the animals are never left behind without the owner.
PARKING/VISITORS
The number of cars allowed on the property is 5 to keep traffic down off our private one-way road. We do allow our guests to have visitors but we limit it to an additional 5 on top of what your reservation is for. Visitors are allowed to visit you during non-quiet hours which are between the hours of 8 am-10 pm.
EV CHARGING: At this time, we do not offer EV charging at Vista Santa Lucia. If you need to charge your electric vehicle please visit Rabobank 6950 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422. If you charge your vehicle while at Vista Santa Lucia, you will be responsible for the electric charges during your stay.
Guests are required to provide the following to finalize their reservation through our reservation software after booking: Provide a photo ID of the guest who is booking, sign our rental agreement with hot tub wavier within 48 hours of booking, and the host will place a $500.00 hold on their cc provided for a damage deposit 2 days before arrival.
An extra Guest fee of $35 dollars per guest, per night, is charged after 6 guests.
