Brookside Lodge is perfectly appointed for beauty while offering the highest level of comfort and maintaining mountain charm that Idyllwild has always been known for. This is our vacation home so we are always adding elements to make it the most comfortable for us and you!
Upstairs the layout features a great room perfect for gathering that combines the kitchen, dining and living room. The great room centers around a a majestic stone fireplace (with a matching one downstairs!) with a custom-built mantle and has brand new hardwood floors and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked (we mean fully!) and even has extras like a popcorn maker, electric grill and griddle for some cozy cabin time. The dining room table seats six has brand new chairs and is adjacent to the kitchen bar for easy serving.
The bedrooms include a Cali King suite downstairs with multiple seating areas. As this space looks out into the forest, wake up with the sunrise! The three other bedrooms offer plenty of sleeping and storage space. The kids bedroom downstairs has a chalkboard wall for murals and the house is stocked with games, puzzles and kids books.
The house has a washer and dryer, the strongest wi-fi, a security system and smart TVs and firesticks upstairs and downstairs for full access to streaming services.
The outdoor space is outfitted to offer several separate spaces to unwind, listen to the nearby babbling waterfall in spring and see woodland creatures all year. Our "camp" features outdoor dining for six and a propane grill, a fire pit with adirondack rockers, a hammock and a cornhole set. The house has ample parking and two driveways for guest convenience.
