Positive: We love the location in Putbus! We love the park! We love the ease of getting to the train station and the grocery stores and cafes! Food at the restaurants is in general a little too eastern german for me - and that is not a good thing. But the bakery (Kruse) is great. And we even went to the theater one night. We love that Putbus is super quiet at night. The kitchen is well stocked, including a tasty nespresso machine. The beds are comfortable. Everything is AS NICE as the pictures!! Great storage for the bikes. We felt very at home for our two weeks there.
Negative: There is an over reliance on robot maintenance. The pool was nice, but the robot cleaner is not enough and there was a green algae growing all around the edge of the pool. I didn't mind swimming in it, but for the money it could have been cleaner. I did not like the vacuum cleaner AT ALL. I mean, it's the beach, there will be sand. We were there with our pets, there will be fur. I wanted to vacuum, but it completely did not work. It literally blew instead of sucking!! The bottom shelf and drawer of the refrigerator is either broken or defective. And for such an expensive appliance (Gaggenau) it's a pity. Grab bars for safety should be added in the showers.
