Summary: This motel didn’t get the memo. Although it is on Route 66 and named The Flamingo Inn, it has done nothing to embrace neither the Mother Road nor the Flamingo name. Don’t be fooled by the “newly renovated” words on their sign. This motel is very dated. The walls in my room were banged up and dirty. The furnishings are old and worn. The bathroom floor had many cracks in the tiles and the tile that was sort of installed as a baseboard looked very dirty and/or worn. But you get what you pay for.
