Positive: The view from the room is great and it can be enjoyed with a hammock provided on the little balcony. Host is reachable via WhatsApp.
Negative: A £300 deposit is requested in cash prior to arrival. When I asked if I could leave a pre-authorization I was given an option to pay Rs30 extra with credit card and no indication of how the money would be returned, as check out is done remotely by sending a WhatsApp video of the property. No linen, towels, bin liners or even a little dish soap (which costs just a few Reais) is provided. Beds and pillows are not very comfortable, and there are a lot of lights from different devices in the room that may disturb your sleep. I feel these are the little details that let the place down.
