This classic 1950s beach bungalow is perfect for a family vacation, girl's trip, or multifamily outing. The Surf Shack is to die for! Completely renovated, updated and stylish! The location is superb being four houses from the beach and six houses from the Bloody Marsh. Excellent beach or marsh views and breezes within walking distance! The beach is a short 5 minute walk and East Beach offers sand and beach at high and low tide. The home is a mile from excellent restaurants and is located in the sought after East Beach neighborhood. East Beach was recently voted the best neighborhood on Saint Simon's Island by Elegant Island Life Magazine and with good reason! Walk or bike all around the area for relaxing trip that will renew your soul. This cottage features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, dining bar, laundry area, a screened porch, back deck and a private yard.
The driveway and parking will accommodate three cars. A large screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan and patio lounging furniture welcomes you. The living room features large windows, a queen sleeper sofa, plenty of seating, original hardwood floors, and a complete open floor plan that flows into the dining room. The living room showcases a 55" flat screen smart tv with Hulu TV and streaming of any network channels and movies you could dream of.
Bedroom number one features a king sized bed, smart tv and has a ceiling fan. Bedroom number two houses 2 sets of twin bunk beds with sleeping room for four, a tv and ceiling fan. The hall bathroom has a bathtub and shower combination and a vanity area. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, a flat screen smart tv, and an attached bathroom. The master bathroom is outfitted with designer tile, a large vanity, and has a walk in shower. Both bathrooms have hair dryers for your convenience and all bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is stylish and quaint. Stainless appliances, a 36” gas range, shaker cabinets, tile back splash, and butcher block counter tops make this kitchen a show stopper. Fully equipped with Keurig and drip coffee makers and all of the cookware you may need. The dining bar seats two and the dining room seats eight.
The front and back yards are very spacious for entertaining and the back yard features a foot wash to clean up from the beach. This cottage includes high speed internet, Hulu TV, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, beach towels, a charcoal barbecue grill, golf cart and an easy walk to the beach!!
