Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The cottage was beautiful, and the area was quiet. Very thoughtful hosts had left bread, scones, cream, and cheese, butter and eggs. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was everything included in the facilities and furnishings to make it feel like home. Lovely sitting in the garden listening to the birds.
Negative: Unfortunately, we were plagued by a swarm of flying ants in the wet room, 2 days running, which was very disconcerting in the middle of the night when using the facilities. I subsequently found ant powder under the kitchen sink which helped. The deep settee is uncomfortable for anyone with short legs, and the TV was not tuned into Freeview, except for BBC1, 2, 3 & 4. A little bit of advice - sorry! the self sown ash tree in the garden opposite the front door should be removed before becoming a problem.
Summary: We had a lovely week in Cornwall staying in a very beautiful cottage.
