In a quiet and green location but only 3km from the sea, the LES MERISIERS cottage can accommodate up to 9 people. It is an independent house renovated in 2015 nestled in the countryside with its private courtyard and garden. From its south-facing terrace, you will have a superb view of the countryside. The cottage LES MERISIERS takes its name from the 2 rows of cherry trees planted 30 years ago which every year in April is adorned with a thousand flowers and in June and July will offer you cherries to taste.
In the basement, garage or playroom, cellar and laundromat with washing machine, dryer and dryer.
A staircase leads you to a large wooden terrace with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. You can take your meals there with a garden furniture, an aperitif or a quiet breakfast overlooking the fields. you will access on the 1st floor the dining room with a large farm table, the living room with a 3 seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa + 2 rattan armchairs and poufs. You will enjoy the large screen TV and DVD player. The fitted kitchen is very complete with plenty of dishes and utensils. These 3 rooms are very bright and sunny and have roller shutters.
On the same floor: A WC, a storage cupboard, a bathroom with 2 sinks, a 140 cm shower, a towel dryer and a changing table for babies.
For sleep 2 bedrooms: 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed for 2 people, 1 smaller with 2 bunk beds.
On the 2nd floor await you 2 large bedrooms with their beautiful wooden beams.
The first with 1 double bed for 2 people + 1 TV, the second with 3 single beds of 90 which can be changed into a large double bed + 1 single bed.
All accompanied by a bathroom with 1 sink, 1 shower and 1 WC.

For babies, folding beds, high chair, bath, changing table, sheets and blankets, cutlery ...
A garden is at your disposal with deckchairs, barbecue, parking for cars in front of the house in complete safety.
You will take advantage of the 2ha wooded field, the children will be able to visit the animals in their enclosure (chickens, rabbits, dwarf goats, they will be able to play in the courtyard in complete safety and take advantage of the 2 private paths. A visit to the river and the old mill (2 other cottages) is possible.
In a common building: children's table football, darts, ping-pong table, racket games ...
Swings outside.
Animals are accepted in our cottages and a package of € 30 per week will be requested in compensation for the additional cleaning. We ask pet owners to be very vigilant so that we can continue to open our cottages to them. A barrier is available on the terrace.
WIFI access is free.
The sea is very close at 5 minutes by car with the charming fishing port of PORT-EN-BESSIN, its trawlers and its fresh fish, all shops and restaurants. Every Friday in July and August, evening market and fireworks.
The city of BAYEUX, famous for its tapestry and the first liberated city in France is 10 minutes away and you will love strolling around the cathedral district and old Bayeux (medieval festivals 1st weekend in July).
The famous Normandy landing sites and museums will be either to the west or to the east, you will really be in the center, between ARROMANCHES on one side and OMAHA-BEACH on the other with the American cemetery.
A short visit to the Pays d'Auge (1 hour by car) with its half-timbered houses, cider and cheeses, DEAUVILLE and HONFLEUR not to be missed, some superb mansions and typical villages.
The MANCHE department with the famous Utah-Beach, St Vast la Hougue, Barfleur, the large natural park of the marshes and the city of the sea in CHERBOURG (1h).
Norman gastronomy will seduce you with seafood and fish, oysters,
dairy products, apple juice, cider, pommeau and calvados, caramels of Isigny and many other delicacies.
Household linen is provided for € 60:
sheets and duvet covers, beds will be made upon arrival. Bath sheets, hand towels and gloves, kitchen towels.
The end of stay cleaning fee is 80 €.
A deposit of 300 € will be requested.
The cottage is open all year round and in winter you can admire the flooded meadows.
