THE PROPERTY
Designed and constructed in 2015, Glenwood Cottage is located on the northwest corner of a half an acre property, more than 200 feet away from the main house and the street, providing complete privacy.
• Spacious 500 sq. ft. living space with an additional 330 sq. ft. covered porch, perfect for outdoor seating. The cottage faces south, receiving lots of sunlight.
• LIVING ROOM: Pull out sofa bed and 40” Smart TV including Netflix and Prime Videos subscriptions.
• KITCHEN: Cooking range (oven/broiler/stovetop), Microwave, Large Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Coffee Grinder, Electric Kettle, Blender, Rice Cooker, Toaster, and all kitchen utensils necessary for cooking and dining.
• BEDROOM: Queen size bed with memory foam mattress topper, 50” Smart TV, large closet, with a patio door opening to the porch and the backyard.
• BATHROOM: Large shower cabin, hair dryer, toiletries, and toilet with bidet.
• LAUNDRY ROOM: Washer & Dryer, Towels, all Laundry, Ironing, and Cleaning supplies.
• GAME ROOM: Detached 570 sq. ft. structure by the pool with a Pool Table, Dry Bar, Piano, and TV/Lounge Area.

GUEST ACCESS
The parking space on the left inside the covered carport is designated for guests. Plenty of additional free parking spaces are available on the street.
You enter the property through a private gate and walk through a private pathway that will take you directly to the guest cottage.
You have exclusive use of a large sparkling swimming pool. At the deepest end, the pool is 10 feet deep. They don't make pools like this anymore! Please note that the pool is not heated, however we do have a quite long swimming season around here. Perfect place to get that California suntan!
You also have exclusive use of a detached 570 sq. ft. game room by the pool, featuring a bar (bring your own drinks!), a large custom made pool (American billiard) table, piano, bluetooth speaker, TV/lounge area, and several board games and books.
Enjoy an afternoon nap in the hammock and feel free to pick fruit from the various mature fruit trees on the property depending on the season: pomegranates, figs, lemons, oranges, tangerines...
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
You will be the only guest(s) on the property and have private exclusive use of the guest cottage, the game room, and the pool throughout your stay.
We live in the main house at the front side of the property that is separated by fencing, and will give you complete privacy while we are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns.
Please have a complete profile with verified ID, tell us a bit about yourself and your group and the purpose of your stay when making a reservation request.
HOUSE MANUAL
There is high speed Wi-Fi Mesh network throughout the property and one of the satellites is located behind the TV. If you need wired connection, an ethernet cable is available for your use inside the TV cabinet. There is no Cable TV, but our Netflix and Prime Videos accounts are already logged in where you can watch your favorite movies and TV shows. If you have any issues with the internet and the TV, please call us and we will be more than happy to assist you.
The secondary small faucet to the right of the kitchen sink provides water filtered through reverse osmosis system. Please use this water for drinking purposes only. The switch to the right of the kitchen sink operates the garbage disposal. There is a trash bin and extra trash bags under the kitchen sink. The large trash and recycle bins are located by the property entrance gate.
The pull-out sofa in the living room can be converted into a full size bed. Additional linens are provided inside the storage underneath the sofa.
Towels and all laundry/ironing/cleaning supplies are located inside the laundry room and the AC/Heater thermostat is located in the hallway.
The hair dryer and extra toilet paper can be found under the bathroom sink and there is additional toiletries and a first-aid kit inside the medicine cabinet. The toilet has a bidet for personal cleaning purposes which should only be turned on slowly while sitting on the toilet.
Pool Maintenance comes to the property every Tuesday morning and Gardening Service comes to the property every Thursday morning.
You are welcome to use the game room, the BBQ area, and the swimming pool at your convenience. Please also feel free to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden or feed the chickens with any kind of kitchen scraps.
HOUSE RULES
Check-ins are after 3pm and check-outs are before 11am. Exceptions may be accommodated on an availability basis with prior notice at an additional hourly rate.
One time cleaning fee is charged for professional cleaning services to be performed before your arrival. Any additional cleaning/housekeeping services requested during your stay will be subject to additional charges.
The property is reserved only for the guests that are listed on the reservation. Any visitors that will enter the property must be approved prior to booking and may be subject to additional charges.
Parties and events are not allowed on the property. We are located in a very quiet residential area. Please be respectful to the neighbors and keep the noise level down. Quiet hours start after 10pm.
Children must be under supervision at all times. Please note that the property is not child proofed and the swimming pool is quite deep.
Pets are not allowed inside the guest cottage.
Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage, but you are welcome to smoke outdoors or inside the game room. Please use the ashtrays provided.
Please keep the entrance gate closed at all times.
Please keep the windows and patio doors closed while the AC/Heater is on. Also make sure to turn off the oven, AC/Heater, TV, and the lights any time you leave the premises. The guest cottage has fire/carbon monoxide detector and automatic fire sprinkler system. In case of an emergency, please call 911 first, and then contact us.
On the day of your departure, please take all your belongings, leave the soiled towels in the laundry room, turn off the oven, AC/Heater, TV, and the lights, leave the keys on the kitchen table, and close the door. The rest will be handled by our cleaning crew.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
Security cameras are located inside the carport and by the front gate.
We have a small Yorkie/Maltese mix dog, two cats, a few rabbits, chickens (no rooster), and quail on the property. The chickens have their own fenced area in the backyard, and the other pets are enclosed within the fences of our back porch. However, our pets may sometimes be allowed to freely roam around the property. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with pets around, and we will make sure to keep them out of your way.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Kenneth Village is within 5 minute walking distance where you can find restaurants, a small grocery store, a vegan Yogurt shop, a coffee shop, and a great French bakery.
We are only two blocks away from Brand Park that features The Brand Art Library, The Doctor's House, Japanese Tea Garden, and multiple hiking trails up the Verdugo mountains where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city of Los Angeles!
