Conveniently between Ellijay & Blue Ridge, BLUE VIEW Cabin is a relaxing retreat perched on Walnut Mtn. Rare combo of 100% paved roads & long range views! Enjoy the view from your hot tub after hiking around on trails or around lakes (200' from trailhead), or play on a Mega Scrabble board! Multiple relaxing areas for the whole fam. Access to community pool (open Memorial Day - Labor Day)/tennis court/picnic areas. Only 20 min to Blue Ridge/12 to Ellijay, secluded for relaxing sunsets, yet close to outdoor activities & shopping.
Upon entering the front door and being mesmerized by the incredible views out the wall of windows, you'll see an open concept floor plan. From the well-stocked kitchen/dining area/and comfy living space, you will enjoy mountain views year round.
There is a laundry room with new washer/dryer attached to the upstairs dining room.
Step outside from this space and you'll find a large open-air deck with plenty of seating for the whole crew at the outdoor dining table (seats 6) or the mini patio fire pit (seats 4).
Sleeping:
Bedroom #1 is on the main level and includes a luxury King bed, 65" flat screen TV, walk-in closet, sitting nook and an 'egg chair' so you can enjoy natural light from the 5 windows while you read/relax. Step outside through the French doors to a private deck with seating for 2. There is a full bathroom just outside the bedroom (with both a shower and separate tub).
Bedroom #2 is on the lower level and also has a luxury King bed, large closet, and flat screen tv.
Bedroom #3 is also on the lower level, next to Bedroom #2 and has two double (full) beds and a large closet. There is a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) just outside the two bedrooms on the lower level.
Bedroom #4 (known as the Bunk Room) is where it gets fun! The heated/cooled Bunk Room is actually located outside the front door on the main level and attached to the carport. This is a fun space with great mountain views includes a bunk bed (2 twins), and entertainment area with a wall-mounted tv. (Please note, there is not a bathroom in the bunk house, and guests will need to utilize the main floor bathroom)
Entertain!
The entertainment area in the lower level of the main house has a couch, 3 recliners, a large TV, along with a table and 4 chairs perfect for board games, cards, puzzles, or coloring. The best part of the entertainment room...Mega Scrabble! This 4'x6' Scrabble board is perfect for family time and a truly unique experience.
The entertainment room leads out onto the terrace level porch, where you will find a 2-3 person porch swing as well as a brand new, 5-person hot tub.
The main and lower decks are lined with outdoor lighting that creates a peaceful ambiance for the hot tub and outdoor dining.
Guest Access:
- You'll have access to the entire home, with the exception of two locked closets: The housekeeper's closet (next to the laundry room) and the homeowner's closet (one of the closets in Bedroom#1)

- Please note that Walnut Mountain is designated as a wildlife refuge...We love our animals! With that in mind, please beware that critters are common in the mountains, we do our absolute best to keep the flora/fauna outdoors. The mountain is known to be home to raccoons, insects, bears, squirrels, snakes, and plenty of deer. Please be so kind to mind the wildlife, and they'll do their best to mind you :)
