Summary: Spent a month here April. 2022. . Great location. It was close to the relatives we were visiting in Villeray.. We like the area. More of a family neighborhood than the Plateau or Mile End., where we used to stay. 2 great bakeries within a couple of blocks and lots of places to eat including several nice restaurants within a 10 min walk. Some cool shops/cafes in the neighborhood. Blue line Metro station Jarry, a short, 2 minute walk. Jarry park @ a 15 min walk. Bixi stations close by. A classic, vintage Montreal apartment. Accurate photos tell the story. It has good light with windows on 3 sides.. Good, well equipped kitchen set up for a long stay. Plenty of dishes and utensils. But not stocked with basic spices, oil, vinegar, etc. No dishwasher. Appreciated Washer/dryer and a fold out clothes drying rack. Included laundry soap, cleaning supplies. Ample towels/linens. Good Wifi. Large dining room table good for eating and getting some work done.. Check in/out was easy with a lockbox Good shower. There was only 2 of us. Small bathroom with good cabinet. Could get a bit tight with a larger group. Host, Frederic, communicated well and responded quickly to a couple of small problems. Would stay here again.
