2 Bedroom Condo in Tamarindo

This lovely, fully renovated two-story condo is spacious, clean, and quiet. It sits just a short, 5- 6 minute walk to the beach and Tamarindo town center. It's far enough from "downtown" that you'll sleep in quiet at night, but close enough that restaurants, grocery stores, surf shops, bars, and everything else you could possibly ask for is within short walking distance. The property is gated with a guard, so it's safe for you and your family to sleep comfortably at night. In fact, the only thing that may keep you up at night are the howler monkeys that like to hang out in the surrounding trees! There are two pools on property for your enjoyment as well. The condo has two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and balcony. The master has a queen bed and the second bedroom is a matrimonial size bed. We also have a fold-out couch in the living room with a half-bath. The kitchen is fully functional with coffee machine, cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans, etc. We even have a washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience. And maybe most importantly, each room has its own air conditioner.

Summary: My wife and I spent a week the Villa Verde II condominium complex in March 2024. We were impressed by how clean and well-equipped the condo was. The best part of this condo is its location. It is well positioned far enough from the active town centre to relax and sleep yet close enough to easily walk to all your needs. The town’s many restaurants, bars, stores, and grocery marts are within a 10-minute walk, as is the beach. We didn’t need to have a car while in Tamarindo as we were able to walk everywhere, but did drive to Tamarindo so parked on the street for one day. Parking wasn’t a problem; we were able to find a spot on the street near the entrance to the condo complex. The entrance to this condo is on the ground floor, about 40 feet away the pool area. Not so close to the complex entrance that people are walking in front of your front door, but close enough that it’s easy to go to the pool for a swim. The style of the condo was nice – high ceilings and the exterior has a kind of art-deco style. The pool and grounds were kept clean and in good repair. We would recommend this condo.
