About an hour from Charleston, and 25 miles from Moncks Corner, SC you can have your very own plantation for your next getaway! Very quiet surroundings with an easy access to about 6 golf courses within 30-40 minutes’ drive .Myrtle Beach is about 1:40 minutes away. The property is very private and located on a 25 acres plantation setting adjacent to the prestigious Oakland Club . It has an in ground swimming pool for staying guests only, 250 yards driving range with range balls, a large pond with various type of fish (Catch and release only).This paradise seems shut off from the rest of the world and has all you will need to be comfortable and relaxed.
Guest House : Three bedroom completely renovated in 2010 and fully furnished . It has a large family room overlooking the pond facing east .A wonderful place to spend the morning. Each bedroom has in-suite bathroom with shower stall . A large living room/dining room with chairs ,well equipped kitchen and HD TV (Antenna only) .Next to the Guest House there is a Gazebo and swimming pool .(Closed Oct.15-Mar15)
St. Stephen is only 9 miles away. There is an IGA store, gas station, pharmacy among other stores.
Please note that our water is well water which has a slight smell .This is very common throughout the area .It is safe to wash and cook with .Some drinking water is provided .We just installed a water filtration system with activated charcoal which eliminates the odor. The inground swimming pool is seasonal (April 1-Oct. 21) shared with the other property .Alternate daily use of the pool is recommended .
