Positive: Lovely house - exceptional really. A lot of thought has been put into the decoration of the house which made it feel very welcoming and homely. Loved the biscuits in the bedroom and the pot of Werthers Originals. Location was excellent. Car-parking was on the street outside the house. We walked around Woburn Park to see the deer. Lots of restaurants / pubs in the area (we ate at Lussmanns). The breakfast was perfect for me. Granola, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, toast and coffee. I don't need anything else! In fact Adam provided so much fruit he kindly gave me some to take home - and a packet of seeds to plant to remind us of our stay. How thoughtful. Lovely to meet Stanley - the new puppy. The garden is also lovely. A nice, calming oasis. Adam recommended the local Indian restaurant so we will be returning! I don't normally leave reviews but the welcome from Adam and the warmth that flows around Havisham House - I can't express enough how much I enjoyed the stay.
Negative: A 5.00 p.m. check-in is possibly a little later than the norm - particularly if you want to get ready to go out for the evening. That is not a criticism - just a personal observation. (Only because it takes me a while to get ready!).
Summary: An all round excellent stay. We will definitely be returning.
