Nestled down a private road, in the heart of Hemlock woodlands, sits this updated lakefront home on Hadlock lake, a 220 acre private motorboat lake in the Adironacks just south of Lake George. Near all, including Great Escape, Saratoga Springs, & Vermont. Features two bedrooms, one and half baths, large living/dining room with a woodstove on a U-shaped driveway. Recent upgrades include refinishing wood floors, new paint in living room and bedrooms and new moldings. TV's are new in 2020/16. New Dock in 2016. New Central AC in 2019. There are two canoes, two kayaks, two stand up paddle board, trampoline raft, and a jon boat for use if you wear life jackets. Excellent hiking trails, like Buck Mountain, overlooking Lake George, nearby. New bathroom in 2021 with bidet. New kitchen in 2022. New granite stone on foundation in 2023.

Summary: The peoperty was comfortable and the owner made it very welcoming for my arrival after a long drive on a snowy night. This is a very private and peaceful setting. Be forwarned: The road into it is not maintained and you will need to consider how your vehicle handles snow conditions if you're traveling during cold weather. I had no problem with my AWD. My family really enjoyed visiting me while I was at Hemlock House. As a person who grew up on a lake, I can most sincerely say that if you are looking for a genuine lakehouse experience, you will find it here.
