Positive: Great location. Warm, clean apartment
Negative: The key drop policy is absolutely horrible. Check out is at 10am and the expectation is to drop the key at a convenience store that opens at 10am with no alternative arrangement available. When we contacted Airkeeper, there was no alternative and we were kept on the phone for half an hour while they were 'trying to contact the cleaners to find out what to do'. We ended up having to tell them we needed to leave as we had somewhere to be and the reluctant answer was to leave the key in the apartment but "if there isn't a spare key, you'll be charged to get a locksmith in to gain access to the apartment". Absolutely horrendous customer service. The apartment did not have tea towels and bath mats provided and when we contacted Airkeeper on the first morning to let them know and to arrange to get some, We had to "prove" that they weren't in the cupboards by providing photos of the empty cupboards (very condescending). They eventually sent some to us on our last evening there. 'Smart lights' are used in the apartment, which meant that only half of them worked and others were stuck on a green or red colour. Inconvenient to say the least. One of the showers appeared to be filling with water and only slowly draining so we could only use the other shower. After all the other issues with the place, we didn't bother trying to resolve this one.
