The Space:
Manor Farm Cottage is a thoughtfully designated holiday home jam packed with character and homely features. Set over two floors, the traditional house is well-equipped for self-catering holidays and is a paradise for hikers and cyclists with plenty of beautiful routes right on your doorstep.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a living area which perfectly combines traditional and modern features. With an exposed wooden ceiling, the living area features a log burner to create a cosy atmosphere. The ideal place to relax after a day of exploring the local area, you can kick back on the sofa or in one of the comfy armchairs and switch on the TV to keep up with your favourite shows.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area features a wooden dining table and matching chairs. Also in the space, you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen. Featuring cherry red brick style tiles, wooden worktops and modern appliances, you’ll have everything you could need for your self-catering staycation. The kitchen also has all of the necessary utensils and cookware required for you to prepare meals easily throughout your stay.
Head upstairs and you’ll find two spacious bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The master bedroom features a double bed, bedside drawers with lamps, and hanging space. Open the curtains each morning to see the beautiful countryside views from the bedroom window.
Along the hallway, you’ll find the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a tartan blue colour theme and has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The comfy king size bed boasts premium bed linens and plush bedding so you can enjoy your nights sleep at the peaceful Manor Farm Cottage. Bedside tables and lamps complete the space. This room can also be configured as a twin if this configuration is more suitable for your stay, please just contact our team at the time of booking.
Also on the first floor is the family bathroom which has a shower, WC and wash basin. A separate WC can also be found on the ground floor.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe.
Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles.
A maximum of two dogs are permitted to stay at Manor Farm Cottage per reservation.

You can visit the World of James Herriott where you’ll find a museum in his converted house and veterinary surgery. Thirsk Museum is also the birthplace of Thomas Lord, the founder of the world-renowned Lords’ Cricket Ground.
Thirsk Racecourse is around five miles away from Little Thirkleby. Renowned for its beautifully maintained paddock, Thirsk Racecourse has an idyllic country charm about it, yet it is a thoroughly modern venue with outstanding facilities.
