This hotel is located in a historic building just 300 metres from Amsterdam Central Station. Hotel Old Quarter offers free Wi-Fi in the restaurant area and a 24-hour front desk. Dam Square is a 5-minute walk. Each basic room is individually decorated. Some have a TV with cable channels. There are private and shared bathrooms which are fitted with a shower. Breakfast is offered in the restaurant. In the evening you can enjoy traditional Dutch snacks. You can relax with a drink in Hotel Old Quarter’s bar. The Red Light District is just a minutes’ walk away. Main shopping street Kalverstraat is minutes away by foot. From Amsterdam Central Station there are direct links to Rembrandt Square, Leidse Square and Rijks Museum.

We will pre authorize your credit card before arrival according to the cancellation policy. Authorization means that we ask the credit card company to block an amount on your credit card (normally equal to the cancellation fee/ first night). This amount is normally valid for a few weeks, thereafter it is automatically released back into your account (depending on the credit card company and the country). We have no control over the release process.
Full payment will be made as soon as the booking is made for a non-refundable booking. It is not possible for cancel free of charge or modify a non-refundable reservations. Full payment will be remained charged. City tax is refundable.
If the name on the reservation does not match the name of the credit card holder you will be notified that we may require a scanned copy of the passport of the given credit card holder.
The hotel reserves the right to cancel a reservation if we do not get the payment or authorization on the given credit card.

1. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. the Credit card details are only required to guarantee your stay. 50 euro deposit is required if you do not have a credit card.
2. Type of rooms : Twin Shared, Economy Double (120x200cm), Economy Twin, Double/Twin Private. Double/Twin Canal view, Triple Private, Triple Canal, Quad and a Family room.
3. Please note that all Special Requests (of double or twin beds) are subject to availability upon to arrival.
4. Please note that the hotel do not have a lift, each floor contains stairs to get to the rooms (can be up to the 5th floor).
5. Please note that the street the hotel is located on is not accessible by car or by any other means of transportation except for bicycle and pedestrians.
6. The hotel has only non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout the hotel. Smoking in the room or touching the smoke detector will cost guest 200 euro fine.
7. Babycot is available free of charge but the availability is subject to your arrival. Please contact the property in advace.
