Positive: I’m not sure if I was the first Chinese guest at this hotel, but my stay felt truly special. The hotel appears to be family-run, and that warmth is felt everywhere. Its location is perfect, right by the sea, and I was lucky enough to witness a breathtaking sunrise from my room. The hotel isn’t brand new, but it’s very well maintained and spotless, which made me feel comfortable immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and even though the elderly hosts don’t speak English, their kindness and genuine hospitality shone through in every interaction. One moment I’ll never forget: the hostess prepared a cup of caffè leccese just for me. It was my first time trying it, and its taste will forever remind me of those beautiful days in the southeastern corner of Italy, with the sea, the blue sky, and that serene, welcoming hotel.
