4 Bedroom House in Greater Heights, Houston
Experience an entire two-story, sanctuary home in the heart of the Houston Heights. Only a 3 mile ride to downtown and a few min walk to a myriad of popular restaurants and coffee shops. This home sits behind a historical church and has a bohemian homeliness with a spacious upstairs bedroom, bathroom and office, plus a large, beautiful back yard and patio. Enjoy a morning coffee from your balcony, or grab a Mai Tai at the Tiki Bar area the corner after a killer concert at the Heights Theater.
The space
There are FOUR beds for FOUR sleeping areas: (1) King size, memory foam, Upstairs deluxe suite, (1) Queen size sleeper sofa, Downstairs living room, (1) Full size mattress, Downstairs with smart TV, (1) Twin size mattress, Downstairs in Exercise room. There are TWO bathrooms.
On the weekends we have events in the front of the property, which is the church called 14 Pews. During your stay you can attend any of these events for free. There is a detached restroom that our guests from the church use, they will not enter your private rented sanctuary, however they will walk through the yard to get to the detached bathroom.
HOUSE RULES
Please see quiet hours and wifi user name and password etc on the sign on the kitchen counter.
Guest access
You will have access to the main house as well as the back yard, the church is not included. We will send you the access code before your stay via website messenger. The entry instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Other things to note:
NOT A PARTY HOUSE!
There are plenty of places in Houston, that you can go if you want to be loud or party. Our house is not that.
Our home is in a family neighborhood and quiet hours are 9.30pm-8am. If you're outside/in the back yard after 9.30pm, please keep your voices in a normal/low conversation volume.
Please keep noise levels down also during the day. Shouting and loud music is disturbing for our neighbors and are not allowed at the property.
Please take care with our property and belongings, we care greatly to make your experience special and we very much appreciate you to respect our home and neighbors.
The home features 1,500 sq ft of a serene & tranquil atmosphere. This charming newly renovated bungalow includes 3 bedrooms, 1 office, 2.5 baths, a dedicated business workspace and fully fenced in backyard with a doggie door. This home is well decorated and fully equipped with all essentials such as cooking supplies, linens, bedding, washer & dryer, all appliances, and much more. However, this home is not baby-proofed. So please no toddlers, and no kids under the age of 12 years old. Please respect our rules and understand we are thinking of your child's safety.

TRASH / RECYCLING (green) Bins for recycling, trash and glass are in the (black) Bins.
Please take out your BAGGED TRASH and put into the BLACK bins in the driveway. Please take out your RECYCLING (paper, cardboard, hard plastic) and put into the green recycling bin in the driveway. Please flatten any boxes and milk cartons etc. to make more space.
Please remove pizza from and clean out any pizza boxes before placing them in the bins. And flatten them. Thank you!
Please take out all GLASS bottles and put into the Black bins in the driveway.
ALL trash, recycling and glass need to be placed in the bins in the driveway before checkout.
FOODS/DRINKS
Is not allowed in bedrooms or sofas/couches/armchairs.
We have indoors and outdoors counter, dining tables, please use these for eating and drinking.
No glass in the backyard. Please use designated outdoor plastic cups.
AC & DOORS
We know that there's a lot of in and out to the back patio but Houston gets hot in the summer and with the cooling on, please keep side and back doors closed as well as the door to the upstairs. Or you’ll have a really hard time getting it cool for sleeping and could damage our AC system. Thank you.
COFFEE MAKERS
We have a drip coffee maker in the kitchen.
HAIR DRYERS
We have a hair dryer in the upstair's bathroom.
IMPORTANT ABOUT PACKAGES
If you wish to send packages to our address, please make sure that it won't arrive earlier than the day of your check-in.
Also, make sure that you change the address back to your own home on Amazon after your order as we've had issues in the past with ongoing packages.
Please NOTE that unfortunately we will not forward any packages to you, that arrive late or with items left behind. Please make sure you collect everything, as all that is left behind after checkout will be thrown out by our cleaning crew.

CONFETTI/GLITTER is NOT allowed on the property.
NEITHER is ADHESIVE TAPE or PINS on the walls or HANGING things from the trees outside.
CEILING LIGHTS:
There are dimmers on most of the ceiling lights, find a little knob on the side of the switch.
The light switch for the living room is near the double French doors on the wall.
PARKING
We have a driveway which you can park in. Also there is free parking on the street.

As you arrive, you will find a printed page, which says "Welcome" with tips, manual and rules. Please read this through.
TOWELS
ALL towels are for indoor use only. Please only use our BLACK WASHCLOTHS if you're wearing makeup. Thank you. Don’t hang towels to dry on chairs outside
LADDER TO UPSTAIR LOFT
Please DO NOT touch the LADDER to the UPSTAIRS Loft for any reason, we have it up and put away for your safety. Because there is no protective railing in the loft, we can not allow people up there.
WALLS
Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items may be used on our walls. Tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed and it's not allowed any variations that damage the wall paint. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be taken out of the deposit or credit card on file.
GROCERIES
We have salt, oil, tea, coffee and coffee filters in the house. The closest grocery stores are "Kroger" on 20th and Yale, "HEB" on Shepherd or the smaller local "Stop-n-Joes" around the corner. There's a "365 Whole Foods" 7 blocks away along he 610 feeder.
EATS & TREATS
There’s a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops etc. just a few minutes walk down both North Main and Airline Blvd. if you’re looking for some eats and treats: Pinkerton's Barbecue, Teotihuacan, Lei Low, Hughies, La Coqueta, The Post Beer & Wine Garden, Tenfold Coffee Company, Antidote Coffee, Rose Garden, Nam Eatery, Harold’s Bistro, Bar & Market and Alec Blue, etc.
Also the cute Shops on 19th street in the Houston Heights.

MISCELLANEOUS
There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame allowed on site (please use the LED candles supplied) or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke.
