Summary: The hotel is tucked away in the mountains of Hakone - making it a convenient location for the ropeway access and a nice experience. Downstairs is a large living room concept with a wooden fire -- fun place to hang out and mingle/relax. Few nice touches that provide for a nice experience -- every guest usually wears their yakuta attire they receive in the room. There is an onsen that you can use which is wonderful! The room has good amenities. The service is a bit slower and maybe not as solutions-based as you might need, but everyone is nice. The hotel offers shuttles to Gora,Sauzon stations - which is helpful if you take the train from Odawara to these stations. You can also reserve a shuttle from Odawara to hotel.
