Positive: The location was very far into the gated community and the main road which was a bit hard to find but it is nice once you get there. Very quiet with lots of deer roaming the area.
Negative: We only stayed for two nights but still had to pay the $50 entrance fee which is technically for a seven day stay. I think the $50 fee should be prorated for however many nights you will be there and not have to pay the full $50 just to go through the gate!! The day we arrived we got into Groveland very early but wanted to go into the valley for the day since check in wasn't until 4:00, I requested to be able to put our bags in the Airbnb and possibly put our food in the fridge so they wouldn't sit in a hot car all day but they denied our request, which was a bummer, the text they sent was not friendly. Also the 10:00 am checkout is very hard to do and unreasonable, it was a rushed morning with no time for breakfast to make it out by 10:00. Most places have 11:00 checkout times but after our very negative response to our request to put our bags in the house early I didn't want to chance another very negative response. Other than that the house is very pleasant, clean and has everything you will ever need.
Summary: Cute house, very comfortable with fully loaded kitchen, comfortable beds and very quiet.
