Juc Beachfront is nestled behind picturesque Jan Juc Surf Beach and Surfcoast Walking Track and Reserve.
Located immediately south of Torquay, named after a baleen whale fossil found in a boulder, Janjucetus hunderi, Jan Juc is often prone to larger swells, making the conditions suitable for experienced surfers and swimmers. The local Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach during peak times for everyone to safely enjoy.
The sprawling cliffs offer magnificent coastal views with beach access via several levels of steps. The area is a great escape from the busy Torquay Back Beach with a three tier sealed car park, viewing platforms, toilets and showers. The Jan Juc heathland is a highly biodiverse ecosystem, home to several endemic floral species.
A short stroll along the spectacular Surf Coast Walk will lead to the Bird Rock lookouts, the ideal location to watch the waves roll in and the local surfers carving it up. Venture a little further along the walk and you will be rewarded with some of the best views along the trail as you head towards popular surf breaks of steps, boobs and evos. Jan Juc is home to a number of surf breaks along the cliffs towards the iconic Bells Beach.
A five minute walk to Torquay Golf Course. Popular restaurants and cafes in Jan Juc are just a 300 metre walk.
Popular BELLS BEACH is 20 minutes away on foot via the walking track or 5 minutes by car.
Upstairs there is one bedroom with a queen size bed, walk in wardrobe and an ENSUITE with a BATH and shower.
The upstairs living room is open plan with 65" SCREEN T.V. and D.V.D player, three seater and a two seater couch. BOSE WAVE "Sound Touch" System The dining room table seats 8 people and a children's high chair is available.
There is a DECK coming off the living area with table, chairs, umbrella and a BABY Q WEBER BBQ.
The kitchen is well appointed with S/S SMEG dishwasher and S/S SMEG gas stove, a large S/S REFRIGERATOR and microwave .
Downstairs there is another bedroom with a queen size bed, single bed, walk in wardrobe and ENSUITE.
The downstairs living room has a FLAT SCREEN T.V.,D.V.D player, and a huge daybed. There is a Book Exchange, enhancing the opportunity to have books read by another book worm.
The 3RD BATHROOM is a combined laundry/bathroom with a shower, MIELE washing machine and a separate toilet off this room.

COURTYARD and a lockable outside storage , handy for storing surfboards, bicycles and sporting equipment.

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO COVID, WE HAVE DECIDED TO HIRE LINEN FROM A COMMERCIAL SUPPLIER. ALL LINEN WILL BE WASHED AT A VERY HIGH TEMPERATURE AND SANITISED. WE FEEL THIS IS BEST FOR US AND OUR GUESTS. ALL HIGH TOUCH AREAS ARE SANITISED BEFORE CHECK IN. WE PROVIDE HAND SANITISER, SURFACE DISINFECTANT AND DISPOSABLE GLOVES TO USE DURING YOUR STAY. ALL OUR CLEANERS ARE DOUBLE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID.

RATES & PAYMENTS
MINIMUM STAY- 2 nights
NIGHTLY RATES vary according to day / season. We offer LONG TERM RENTAL in autumn, winter & spring ( minimum 1 month). Please ask me for a quote.
PRICING
Tariff is based on 2 Adults per night ( sharing the same bed) and there will be no access to the downstairs bedroom. If there are two guests staying and two bedrooms needed there will be an additional charge of $100.00 per night for the extra room. Please mention the extra room needed in your enquiry and an addition charge of $100.00 will be applied manually. For up to two extra people per night this will automatically be added to your quote when you make an enquiry. Each extra person after will incur a $100.00 fee , added automatically when making your enquiry.
PAYMENTS are made through Vrbo / Stayz .
SECURITY BOND $500 refunded within 7 days of departure.
