Positive: Id walked 21km before I realised I needed to find accommodation for the evening and at 4pm booked a nights stay, not really knowing if it would be possible. I quickly learned via a speedy email reply that my booking was valid and they would be ready to receive me after I’d made the further 8km hike. On arrival into the village I was greeted by a really welcoming man informing me that he was the owner and from that moment on made me feel like I was home. My “home” for one night was nothing short of perfection. What a beautiful place. I unraveled in the pool and met two other guests also sharing their love for this place. Slept like a log and rested, ready for the next leg of my journey. I can’t thank the owners enough for that welcome and the hospitality. A true treasure for a wandering soul. Home from home. 🙏
