Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The accommodation is over 2 levels on the left-side of a single house. The hosts live in the right-side of the house. The house is about a 5 minute walk from the front stone gate of the old town and then another 5 mins to the centre of the upper old town. The accommodation has a nice homely lounge room on the ground level and a nice bedroom and bathroom on the 1st level, which is reached via a fairly narrow spiral staircase. Our host carried our luggage up these stairs when we arrived and back down again when we left, which was a huge help! The hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts served each morning were delicious and their suggestions for our day trips and for restaurants in town to eat at were greatly appreciated. There wasn't air conditioning, but fortunately we missed the European heatwave. There was a fan though, which was very effective.
