Positive: Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment. It has a great location—about a 15-minute walk to La Cinta beach and 10 minutes to the city center. There's convenient parking right on the property. The apartment is on the second floor of the house with a separate entrance from the parking area. It features an excellent kitchen and terrace, plus two bathrooms. The area is nice and quiet. The hosts are wonderful—Simona is always available if you need anything. Key handover and return were on time; Simona's parents gave us the keys and showed us everything in the apartment. We had some issues with the electricity, and Mr. Roberto was really concerned about it, but he quickly arranged for repairs, and the technicians fixed everything. We had a fantastic time here and would happily stay longer.
Negative: I wouldn’t want to frame these as shortcomings, but rather as friendly suggestions for hosts. It would be helpful if the kitchen had a basic set of spices (salt and pepper) and some olive (or vegetable) oil for cooking. Since each guest wouldn’t really need to buy small quantities of salt and pepper at the supermarket, given their minimal consumption and low cost. As for cooking oil, it’s usually sold in large bottles, which guests wouldn’t be able to use up entirely during their stay. We also understood that many accommodations in Sardinia are rented without bed linen, and you can either pay extra to the host for it or bring your own. The prices for lodging are already quite high, so we brought our own bed linen. However, that’s quite inconvenient because it adds weight to the luggage. Based on this, I would recommend that the owners reconsider their policy on providing bed linen—perhaps offering it free for stays of three nights or more, and including it in the overall price. Another issue we encountered was waste sorting, as we weren’t familiar with it beforehand. We’d suggest providing a simple, clear instruction on how to sort trash. For example, we used biodegradable bags for food waste and put it in the bin to avoid mess, but for some reason, the trash collector refused to take it. Since we don’t speak Italian and couldn’t figure out what the problem was, despite searching online where it said biodegradable bags were acceptable for food waste, we’re still unsure. Overall, I want to emphasize that we were very happy with our stay!
