Positive: The place is in the middle of nowhere so if you are planning to disconnect, hike, or embrace the Austrian countryside, it is perfect. You can rent bikes, the hosts can show you their cute farm animals. When it's warm, you can eat, sit, and relax outside. It's really beautiful. There is free parking, WiFi, and you can also log into your streaming service account on the TV. There is complimentary tea with an electric kettle, as well as a coffee machine and capsules in the flat. The house is small so you have to be respectful of your hosts and other guests. This is definitely a good place to have as a base that you leave to explore the surroundings. We stayed here as we attended a wedding at a winery in the area which was located 5 minutes by car/ 45 mins by steep walk. Everything was pretty easy - getting to the property, checking-in, staying for two nights, and leaving.
Negative: To be perfectly frank, we would have stayed somewhere else if the wedding venue had enough rooms as it was more modern. This is a nice place for outdoor and nature freaks - when you open the blinds in the morning, you will see that you are surrounded by fields, forests, and only a few houses here and there. The apartment is newly renovated with IKEA furniture and it's nice to look at but the mattress was quite hard and the stools squeaked mercilessly when you sat on them - IKEA quality :D The rainforest shower head did not have enough pressure and the fan in the bathroom struggled with leading the steam outside. We did not order breakfast before our arrival - we were offered to add it on for the first full day of our stay. The bread was unfortunately not fresh and the rolls that came with it were baked from frozen - and slightly too long. It was not horrible and still a good spread for 10.50 EUR but it also was not special. One of the hosts was happy to offer oat milk instead of regular milk which was nice - they are obviously very accommodating if they know in advance. If you plan to stay here and wish to have breakfast, make sure to order before your arrival. There's a fridge in the apartment that can be plugged in so if you want, you can get groceries and cook yourself. However, there is no stove - just a microwave hidden under the sink.
