Summary: This house is gorgeous and so is the yard and lake. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. However the guest house is NOT air conditioned- and gets very hot. We had to use this space with the amount of people we had and we have small children, very difficult to sleep in there especially when it is so hot. Guest services did not help us when we told them the trash was overflowing from the previous guest and all over the lawn- no one came to get it and we had no where to put our own trash, even after letting them know 2 days in a row. Despite those couple of problems we still enjoyed our stay very much and it was a very well kept cottage. An air conditioner for the guest house and a 2nd trash bin would be very helpful! I would also recommend bringing some camping chairs and beach chairs if you want something comfortable to sit on outside.
