On spacious 100sqm you will feel like at home. The apartment is fully equipped and offers everything for a short or longer stay. The entire floor is at your disposal.
The retro apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a city villa, which was built in 1930. I affectionately call it a retro apartment, because you will experience a piece of authentic contemporary history, including a colorful mix of furnishing styles. There is something for everyone - whether retro, Ostalgie, vintage or modern.
Unique about the accommodation, besides the interior ;-), is the area that is available to you here. There is a large bedroom (with enough space for suitcases), a study (with a large closet), a large living room with access to the loggia, kitchen with dining area, bathroom and separate toilet. Ideal also for a longer stay or remote working.
The office/study is equipped with enough sockets, light and a WiFi printer. W-Lan is available, soon also via fiber optic cable. In the loggia you can drink a glass of wine or eat even in the rain. Or enjoy the garden in the sunshine.
The apartment is "only" equipped with a double bed. For 1-2 nights you can also sleep on the couch. An extra bed can be provided. Please write me a short message for this. The apartment is generally not suitable for small children, with regard to sockets, edges, stairs, etc.. Otherwise you are also welcome as a small family.
4 generations have lived in the house so far - and this is reflected in the furnishings. I didn't want to just throw everything out and refurnish. In addition to many memories that are in every single piece of furniture, I also wanted to dispose of nothing that still works well under the sustainability aspect. Therefore, the equipment scores with a few goodies and not everyday highlights, such as a Hi-Fi system from Onkyo with a record player, vinyls from various genres, small media library (books, music CD’s, DVD’s), TV sets in the living room, study and bedroom, large refrigerator with freezer, etc.
The Neighborhood
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area (Spremberger Vorstadt) with apartment buildings and apartment blocks. The Carl-Thiem-Klinikum and SANA-Herzzentrum are right on the doorstep. Baker and shopping facilities are also within easy walking distance.

The nearest bus or streetcar is 3-5 minutes away. The main train station is also less than 15 minutes walk away. To the city center you need 20 minutes by foot. In a few minutes you are also in the nature for beautiful walks or maybe for a morning swim in the lake?
